Moths are often dismissed as drab creatures whose caterpillars devour our gardens and sweaters. While some species do exhibit bad habits, the truth is that moths are incredibly diverse, abundant, and easy to observe. Many moths are strikingly patterned and stunningly beautiful, refuting the idea that these insects are unattractive. This workshop is an introduction to the vibrant, beautiful, and surprising world of moths. (Use main festival registration for “Moth” field trip).
