Santa Gertrudis Lane is a well-known hotspot in Tumacocori that offers exciting birding! On this particular trip, we will make an effort to see Rose-throated Becard and Sinaloa Wren, both of which have been seen in the area lately. This will likely require some patience as the Sinaloa Wren is a secretive species that doesn’t come out in the open often. We, of course, will be looking for other birds as well. Bring water, lunch, snacks, camera, etc. We will meet in the Safeway Shopping Center at I-19 and Continental Road. Cost is $10/person. Call 520-488-8551 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
