Pena Blanca Lake is a beautiful oasis in the Coronado National Forest northwest of Nogales. The lake, its shoreline, and the surrounding oak grasslands support a diverse assemblage of birds. Canyon Wren, Rufous-capped and Rufous-winged Sparrows, are among the birds we will see. And there is always a chance for Montezuma Quail! Bring water, lunch, snacks, camera, etc. We will meet in the Safeway Shopping Center at I-19 and Continental Road. Cost is $10/person. Call 520-488-8551 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
